Jack a recent graduate of Oxford is expected to go to work for his father, timber man Thomas DeQuincy, and his first job will be to straighten out the lumber camps troubled by bootleggers, bullies and bolsheviks. At logging Camp C Jack meets Marie O'Neill the charming daughter of the camp superintendent but runs into trouble with Pete, the biggest camp bully around.
