A romantic melodrama set in mysterious Egypt.

Joan Whipple has followed her fiancé, Nicholas Ainsworth, to the sand-swept tombs of Egypt, only to find him already wed to his work unearthing a long dead pair of Egyptian lovers. In fact Ainsworth is so consumed by his project that he doesn't realize he has competition for Joan. Not only in the three rivals that have followed Joan all the way from the states but also in the villainous Prince Mahmoud who desires not just Joan but to stop the American expedition!
